We’re delighted to share that we have achieved a resolution to grant planning permission for 38 new homes on land north of Chalk Hill Road, Horndean.
This carefully considered scheme responds to the local character and vernacular. Through distinctive characterful design, the development adds to established landscaping, creates new sustainable cycle and pedestrian connections through the site, and enhances biodiversity. The scheme also sees a range of off-site highways improvements being delivered to improve the wider local transport network.
We have worked collaboratively with consultees and local stakeholders, including the Parish Council throughout the process, to achieve a proposal that all those involved can be proud of.
Special recognition goes to Rebecca Humble, our Planning Manager, for her outstanding leadership in navigating a complex planning process and achieving a result with no objections from statutory consultees and strong officer and parish council support.
