Metis Homes is pleased to announce that East Hampshire District Council has issued a resolution to grant detailed planning permission for our latest development in Four Marks, comprising 21 private new homes.
This thoughtfully designed scheme will deliver a varied mix of homes tailored to local housing needs, including 1 and 2‑bedroom apartments, 2 and 3‑bedroom houses, 3‑bedroom bungalows, and 4‑bedroom detached family houses. The range reflects our commitment to creating balanced communities that offer opportunities for first‑time buyers, families, and downsizers.
The approval marks the culmination of a two‑year planning journey, brought to a conclusion following a detailed two‑hour Planning Committee discussion. The project has been shaped through close collaboration between the Metis team, led by Planning Director Alistair Harris and Planning Manager Rebecca Humble, alongside our dedicated consultants at Radley House, Luminate, i‑Transport, Pro‑Vision Ecology, ACD, Aquacallidus, and DFL
The development places significant emphasis on ecology and landscape character. Ahead of construction, a co-ordinated programme of ecological works will be undertaken to ensure the protection of resident badgers, slowworms, and other species native to the site.
