Rebecca joins with over 15 years’ experience in various roles in the development and planning industry after starting her career as a Development Management Officer at Havant Borough Council. From there Rebecca moved to Gosport Borough Council to a Principal Planning Officer role where she worked on many of the borough’s strategic sites including Daedalus, Priddy’s Hard and Haslar War Memorial Hospital. From there Rebecca moved to planning consultancy WYG and developed experience working on immediate and strategic planning for various clients including strategic land, housebuilders, and private landowners before moving to a similar role at Pegasus.
In her new role at Metis Homes Rebecca will be responsible for preparing and submitting planning applications, promoting land through Local/ Neighbourhood Plan processes, and reviewing potential new sites.
Rebecca adds “I’m excited to get stuck into my new role at Metis Homes. The role enables me to draw on my years of experience to work across a full range of disciplines within and external to Metis Homes to ensure land and specific development proposals respond to constraints and local objectives whilst meeting company aims and values at the same time.”
Alan Pink joins as a Customer Care Operative, in this role Alan is an integral part of the dedicated customer services after care team. The team provide support to new home owners with any issues that arise in the first two years of their new home ownership under the Metis Homes two-year warranty. Alan joins having worked in the construction industry for over 40 years, he is a qualified bricklayer and carpenter. He brings a wealth of experience which includes 15 years working with housebuilders in a customer care role including Taylor Woodrow and Berkeley Homes.
Alan adds: “I’m enjoying being back in the housebuilding industry. At Metis Homes we are a small tight knit team, and we each pride ourselves on the attention to detail and excellent customer service we offer. I enjoy meeting our customers and working with them to quickly address and rectify any issues first-hand. It’s great to be in a role where I can utilise my years of experience and skills to support and maintain the high levels of customer service our customers deserve.”
