When buying a Metis Home, our Sales Executive will offer you the opportunity to choose an approved recommended solicitor so that your purchase may proceed as smoothly and as quickly as possible – these are experts in property law and will be able to give you professional, independent legal advice that you can trust. The approved solicitor will have familiarised themselves with the development and our legal contract pack so that they will be able to ensure an exchange of contracts within our agreed time period and answer any questions that you may have.
The recommended solicitor will act on your behalf, with no ties to Metis Homes other than being on our approved list. We receive no renumeration whatsoever from them and as solicitors they must be completely independent. The benefit to us of offering this service is that we know that our customer is being advised by an expert in property law, who has been briefed and understand the development and any legal complexities, and therefore should be able to bring the process to a successful conclusion in a prompt and timely manner.
